Octaraa was born from a simple realisation most of us start managing money far too late, often with the wrong guidance.
After nearly two decades in the corporate world, our founder began investing only in 2019, navigating a landscape filled with complexity, bias, and products that didn't truly serve long-term goals.
That experience exposed two critical gaps: the cost of delayed investing, and a system driven more by commissions than client needs.
More importantly, it revealed a deeper problem families lack access to clear, trustworthy financial guidance when they need it most.
Octaraa exists to change that helping young families start early, make informed decisions, and build wealth with confidence.
Meet The Founder
“Missing compounding is India's biggest hidden financial loss.” That belief is deeply personal for Vaibhav.
For over 20 years, Vaibhav Jain built a successful corporate career working with global companies like Oracle, Microsoft, VMware, SAP, and later Google Cloud.
But when it came to his own money, there was one big gap: for two decades, Vaibhav stayed away from investing.
The world of finance felt complex, overwhelming, and difficult to trust.
When he finally took his first step in 2019, it turned into a setback because a bank advisor, driven by commissions, mis-sold him a ULIP plan he never truly needed.
That moment wasn't just a bad financial decision. It was a realization.
The real loss wasn't the product. It was 20 years of missed compounding.
From Regret to Purpose
That experience changed everything. Vaibhav realized his story wasn't unique. Across India, millions of families were making financial decisions without clarity, relying on biased advice & unknowingly losing years of wealth creation
